Huzzah! The website has been fully updated. The only disappointment is that Nigeria failed to qualify for WC 2006, so hopefully another side will win the title in a friendly and take it into the WC tournament.

Nigeria have qualified for the African Cup of Nations, which will be held before the World Cup.

Aye, hopefully - I mean, they're a good friendly opponent for any of the 32...and also they could lose it in the Nations to a side going to the WC. It'd certainly make the tourney a lot more exciting with the UFWC riding on it.

According to FIFA site, Nigeria's next fixture is in the cup of nations against Ghana on the 23rd of January. I suppose the UFWC will go to the WC if the cup of nations is won by one of the teams that are going to Germany.

Not necessarily. Nigeria could lose the UFWC in their last group game to a team already unable to progress to the knockout - thus that team would go home with the UFWC despite not winning the Nations.
