Georgia defeated Turkey tonight to retain the UFWC title and set up a match against all-time UFWC champs Scotland. See the main site for full details! www.ufwc.co.uk

I've updated the Wikipedia details. The Scotland game should give plenty of opportunity for publicity. Can we have the media talking about UFWC in 6 weeks time?

Ideally we want good coverage before that so that it can be built up ahead of the match, and maybe time to get some sort of trophy arranged! I would say that if there is sufficient media coverage there would be plenty of companies wanting to sponsor the trophy.

...also, forgot to mention that if Scotland defeat Georgia they play official champions Italy four days later!

Someone on one of the Tartan Army message boards has flagged up that possibility, calling it a 'unification' match - though of course the titles would only really be unified if Italy won.
Good luck to the Scots!

It should be fairly easy to get the SFA on board, after all, a trophy presentation after the match would be fantastic.
They usually reply to emails, hopefully Paul or someone can contact them and get some kind of trophy organised and a presentation. (The SFA themselves might even contribute to a trophy)

I contacted the SFA while writing the UFWC book, and they said although it was good fun they were only interested in qualifying for major competitions. The Tartan Army are on board, however!
