UFWC Clubs - Your Help Required

The gauntlet has been thrown down, and a club version of the UFWC is on its way. But how should it work?

*STARTING POINT - How can we decide which was the first club match, or should we start with the first club league match, and if so, which league?
*CUP COMPETITIONS - Should we include League AND Cup competitions?
*EUROPE - Including European competitions allows the title to swap between countries.
*FRIENDLIES - Friendlies would allow the title to swap continents, but who has a list of every club friendly ever played!?

Current thoughts are that the research should start either at the inception of the English FA Cup in 1871, or the English Football League in 1888, and include all domestic and European competitions, but that friendlies should NOT be included as a complete and reliable list of friendlies cannot be available. But please post your thoughts on the subject here. Any people willing to help out with the project are also invited to post here or email the UFWC site.

Starting with English FA Cup and including both FA Cup and League (which also includes the English Southern League) but NOT including friendlies I'm currently at Sat 10th Sep 1910 with Watford beating Brighton 2-1 in a Southern League Match. Currenltly waiting for a contact of mine to get back to me with Watford's Southern League results for the 1910-11 season.

If anyone has the complete results for the Southern League 1910-1911 season and they could email them to [e-mail] I would be more than grateful.

I'm much further on my travels now.. much much further! Here's a long shot but does anybody have any German League results for the 1958 - 1959 season?? (Thanks a lot Wolves for losing to Schalke on 18/11/1958 in the European Cup!!) I've found a great site for European Domestic Leagues, but unfortunately their database for Germany doesn't start until the early 60's.

Since you're looking for Schalke, I think you have to look at "Oberliga West" of that season, because "Bundesliga" was founded in 1963. There is a file for that season but I haven't managed to open it. I don't know which viewer to use, but I think they can help you ([e-mail]).

I'm sure they can give you the data for the german cup as well
