After a long winter break, the UFWC got back into gear this week with a hastily-arranged friendly between Congo and holders Angola. It was a FIFA-approved match, so counts towards the UFWC. Visitors to the site seem to have dropped off since the excitement generated by the FourFourTwo article, and apparently a copycat site has sprung up - stealing all of our results! But UFWC has been featured in Wikipedias, and we plan to go from strength to strength. One plan is to obtain sponsorship (instead of the Amazon association) to allow us to generate a better service. In the meantime, please spread the word about our website - tell your friends how great it is, perhaps send them an email with the address in, or post a link to the site on any message boards you visit.
