Hey guys, so to save some more room for discussion on the forum and also because it's a big stress to keep up with every single kick-off, I'm going to summarise results on a monthly basis instead of after every match day. It was a fun idea while it lasted to stay up to date with the titles as games happen, but I think it's overdoing things anyway.
With that being said, here are the titles up for grabs in April!
Women's CONCACAF Wooden Sp00n 6th - Dominica v Turks and Caicos Islands - CONCACAF W Championship Qualifiers - Roseau, Dominica North America's worst women's side are already out of contention for the tournament proper, but have two more qualifiers remaining to try to offload their unofficial title. Their best chance is likely to be this game against Dominica, who have also lost both games in the group so far, albeit by much more respectable margins than the Turks and Caicos.
If Turks and Caicos fail to offload the title against Dominica, they face a much stiffer opponent in their final qualifier, at home against Trinidad and Tobago. After that, we're likely to see the small island nation go back into the wilderness of not playing football until the next qualification campaign - maybe even not for another four years, as this tournament serves as qualifying for both the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Olympics, so the next tournament that TCI can put their name forward for is the next CONCACAF Championship in 2026.
Should Dominica stumble and lose to the TCI, they face a trip to Nicaragua on their final matchday of the qualification campaign - an unlikely win for them, given Nicaragua's 19-0 thrashing of the TCI a little earlier.
Women's European Champions 8th - Wales v France - FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers - Llanelli, Wales France are on probably the most impressive run of any of the current world or continental champions, having retained what is by far the most competitive of the women's continental titles for coming-on three years. They now defend the title they claimed at the last World Cup in qualification for the next one, which continues with their away fixtures against the Welsh.
If France retain the title against Wales, they return home for their next qualifier against Slovenia, which will be played in Le Mans. Following that, they head to the Women's Euros in England, where they are drawn in a group against Italy, Belgium and Iceland.
If Wales claimed the title, their final qualifier is a gruelling away trip to Kazakhstan, after which they have nothing else scheduled until September at this stage, having not qualified for the Euros.
Women's World (and CONCACAF) Champions 9th - Anguilla v Mexico - CONCACAF W Championship Qualifiers - The Valley, Anguilla Mexico face what should be another easy hurdle on their path to the CONCACAF W Championship, and another opportunity to extend their remarkable and unexpected run as Women's World Champions. Really, this group should pose them little threat, and it won't be until the tournament proper that we see any real contests for the Mexican women.
If Mexico retain the title against Anguilla, they will return home to Toluca to face Puerto Rico in their final qualifier of the round. They then have two friendlies against Peru scheduled in June as their next challenges.
If Anguilla were to claim an incredibly unlikely victory, their first defence is to be decided - even a victory in their final qualifier against Mexico would not be enough for them to qualify for the CONCACAF W Championship, so their next game may not be for a while, as is often the case with small island nations who don't have the resources to play frequent friendlies.
Women's South American Champions 9th - Colombia v Venezuela - Friendly - Cali, Colombia Colombia have announced two friendlies in their preparations for the Copa America Femenina that will serve as their next tests in remaining unofficial champions of the continent. Venezuela is probably a likely win for the Colombians, but friendlies are always unpredictable.
If Colombia retain the title against Venezuela, they will play a second friendly against them, again in Cali, three days later. After that, nothing further has been announced until the start of the Copa America Femenina in July.
If Venezuela claimed the title, they also have not announced anything further until the Copa America.

After no international fixtures in May, here's what's coming up in UFWC action in June, now that the club season has come to an end!
Men's World (and European) Champions 3rd - France v Denmark - UEFA Nations League - Saint-Denis, France World champions France will begin their Nations League campaign this month, meaning both the world and European titles will be up for grabs. Les Bleus are unbeaten since a friendly loss to Finland back in November 2020. Their first opponent in the Nations League group stage for the reigning champions is against Denmark at the Stade de France.
If France retain the titles, they will next head to Split to face Croatia, then to Vienna to face Austria, and finally a home game against Croatia to finish the month of June. Their Nations League campaign will then continue in September against Austria.
If Denmark claim the titles, their first challenger will be Austria away in Vienna, then Croatia at home and finally Austria at home in Copenhagen.
Women's World Champions 25th - Mexico v Peru - Friendly - Torreon, Mexico This will be an interesting dynamic, as surprise world champions Mexico face South American wooden sp00ners Peru. This could leave us with a strange situation where Peru could become the world champions while still being the South American wooden sp00ners, as beating Mexico would not allow them to offload that title. They will face each other in two friendlies in Torreon.
If Mexico retain the title, after the second friendly, they will take both the world and CONCACAF title to the CONCACAF W Championship, where their group consists of Jamaica, Haiti and the United States.
If Peru claim the title, they will take the world title to the Copa America Femenina in Colombia in July, where they will face Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay and Brazil.
Men's Asian Champions 7th - United Arab Emirates v Australia - FIFA World Cup Qualifiers - Doha, Qatar Asian champions the UAE will face their next challenge in a do-or-die playoff to determine the intercontinental playoff place for the AFC. Either the UAE or Australia will go on to face Peru in a playoff for one of the last remaining places at the World Cup in Qatar. This will be a tough game to pick between two strong Asian teams, but the UAE will be confident that they are coming into the playoff on good form.
If the United Arab Emirates retain the title, their next game against Asian opposition is to be decided.
If Australia claim the title, they also have not announced their next game against Asian opponents.
Men's African Champions 4th - Senegal v Benin - Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers - Dakar, Senegal After juggling the title with Egypt, Senegal have come away with both the unofficial title and a World Cup place, and will now enter their qualifying campaign for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast. The Senegalese will face two fixtures in June, at home against Benin before travelling away to face Rwanda.
If Senegal retain the title against Benin and Rwanda, their next opponent is Mozambique at home in September.
If Benin claim the title, they will host Rwanda in their next qualifier in September.
Men's CONCACAF Champions 2nd - Panama v Costa Rica - CONCACAF Nations League - Panama City, Panama Despite only managing to qualify for the intercontinental playoffs, Costa Rica came out of the World Cup qualifying campaign as unofficial champions, and will next face Panama in their opening match of the Nations League. This will be the first of two Nations League fixtures, as they will next host Martinique - a game that will not be considered an "A" international due to Martinique's non-FIFA status - before heading to Qatar to face New Zealand in their World Cup playoff.
If Costa Rica retain the title against Panama, their next opponent is to be announced, although they will face Panama again next March.
If Panama claim the title, they also have not announced any further games against CONCACAF opposition until the return leg against Costa Rica.
Men's CONCACAF Wooden Sp00n 3rd - British Virgin Islands v Cayman Islands - CONCACAF Nations League - Road Town, British Virgin Islands After becoming the wooden sp00ners in a 2-1 friendly loss to Anguilla back in January, the British Virgin Islands will seek to offload that title when their Nations League campaign begins this month. They face a group that consists of the Cayman Islands and Puerto Rico. In June, they will play three fixtures, both home and away against the Caymans, and then away against Puerto Rico.
If the British Virgin Islands fail to offload, their next fixture that has been announced is the home leg against Puerto Rico next March.
If the Cayman Islands become the wooden sp00ners, they will also face Puerto Rico in March.
Men's European Wooden Sp00n 2nd - Estonia v San Marino - UEFA Nations League - Tallinn, Estonia The team dubbed the worst national team in the world will seek to unload that title yet again, as their Nations League campaign gets underway in June. They face a group that features Estonia and Malta. Their four games in June will be away in Estonia, at home against Malta, a friendly against Iceland and the away trip to Malta.
If San Marino fail to offload, their next fixture that has been announced is their home Nations League game against Estonia in September.
If Estonia become the wooden sp00ners, they will face a friendly against Israel, their away trip to Malta, and a friendly against Albania, before facing Malta again in September.

Potentiallly there could be a mid ranked European team becoming Wooden Sthingy holders. San Marino are in a 3 team group and most of teams not playing have organised friendlies against the teams that would otherwise have played Russia in the Nation's League (Russia having been kicked out of the competition for their actions in Ukraine). This could make for some interesting European Wooden Sthingy matches

Awesome hakejunter - thanks for all the updates - I would love to post more often but have limited time! Just going to add some random facts for you:
Men's world championship - Italy equalled the all-time record for most successful defences, defending the title 21 times between taking it in September 2020 and losing it in October 2021 in the Nations League semi-final to Spain. They tie the record held by Netherlands (2008-10). The only other country to have managed more than 15 is Scotland (1880-88).
Men's European sp00n - San Marino's run now stretches to 83 unsuccessful offloads since 2011. The next longest run in any of the 28 competitions is 54 (United States successful defences in the women's CONCACAF championship, 2011 to 2021) - see below.
Men's African sp00n - Seychelles extend their record run to 30, having drawn 2 and lost 3 of their matches this year.
Women's world championship - In winning the Olympics, Canada became world champions. They lost a friendly to Mexico in November, and the Mexicans have introduced new names to the party; their last four defences have been against Suriname, Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla and Puerto Rico, none of whom have contested the women's world championship before. Mexico won all four games, scoring 34 goals in total, with none conceded.
Women's European championship - France have won all 10 of their matches this year, to extend their run to 25. The all-time European record is 30 (Norway 1998-2001), so France would beat that by one if they remain undefeated to win the women's Euros next month.
Women's African sp00n - The day we thought we'd never see. Guinea-Bissau finally played their first match since 2006, beating Mauritania - not once but twice - in the women's AFCON qualifying.
Women's CONCACAF championship - An absolute sensation in last summer's Olympic semi-final, as the US lost to eventual gold medallists Canada in the semi-finals, to end their run of 54 successful defences. They had been champions ever since July 2001, with the exception of a two-month period of Nov 2010 to Jan 2011.
