The book traces the lineage of the UFWC from the very first international football match in 1872 right up to date. It follows the UFWC title as it's passed from legendary teams to footballing minnows, via classic finals and forgotten friendlies, featuring celebrated players and unsung heroes. Along the way it uncovers hundreds of amazing football stories, many of which are ignored in official football histories.
