Hi Carter,
Thanks for your notes.
I have rechecked the information which I have to date and Bonner SC were in the 2. Bundesliga Nord (effectively the northern half of the second tier of German football) in the 1976-77 season.
I can confirm that what you state is correct as they were then relegated to the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein at the end of that season.
Cheers,
Steve

I tried to check online archiv of local newspaper, but unfortunally they are wheater very incomplete or cost money - a lot. So I think the Bonner SC will be best shot for your purposes - did they write back, yet? If not: Did you write german?

Hi - I did e-mail the club in German and am currently awaiting to hear from them.
I've e-mailed a couple of other contacts as well so will see if I receive any response from them.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi - I don't wanna rush you southendboy71, but is there any update to the Club's UFWC? Are we all still waiting for Bonner SC to reply to your e-mail or did you make it one or two title matches further? If it's the clubs not responding, we just have to wait - but if you lack a bit of time to do this project, I would like to offer help. Just give me the status and I will do some research. I know, that the Verbandsligas have a very incomplete archive, so it can get a bit frustrating. So if it's not your lack of time but rather the lack of information: Keep up the good work! You did really great to this point and I hope you don't let a german semi-professional 3rd tier league disappoint you

Hi carter,
To be honest with you it's a lack of information which is incredibly frustrating at present.
Feel free to take up the mantle if you would like to as I seem to have exhausted most of the avenues I have at present. You may get a better response than I did!
I am just running a check of the results to date to make sure that this is definitely where we end up and am in the process of publishing the results on my website.
Let me know how you get on!

Okay, I'll see what I can do. Of course I can't guarantee any results, but maybe I find some sources, you didn't think of yet. If anyone else has contact to Bonner SC or other clubs playing in Verbandsliga Mittlerhein in 1976/77 please let us know!

Just a quick update as I have been reviewing the fixtures which have lead me as far as I have reached.
A few errors in the initial research so have been busy rectifying the route we've taken. The most up to date list I have is in the website above.
Further update to follow in due course.

Wow, that was a major setback - we were in 1976 and you found a mistake back in 1910? Good god! Let me know, when we're back in Germany (if this happens along the new road), maybe I can help a litle bit.

Hopefully you'll find a merge, where it resets back to the old path. You know, I should make a Wiki page with the all-time results of teams in sports, as it seems pretty difficult to find >.<

Hey, can anyone find an archive of every result from a football league ever? For example, the AFL has one here: stats.rleague.com/afl/seas/1908.htmlAnd you can track every match ever. If you could find something similar for Eurpoean leagues, I'll get a list of every match ever by clubs for you, to make it easier.
