For some strange reason the title match of AFC sheduled for tomorrow between Qatar and Kuwait seems to be cancled. At least it doesn't show up on the FIFA games list and searching through AFC pages (including association homepages of qatar and kuwait) you get the impression, there never was a match sheduled. No notice about postponement or replacement ...

Today Benin defeated their african UC by 2-1, so we end up with all continental (unofficial) champions to not have sheduled a match until WC (thus chances are good, we'll see two continental UC and the UFWC in South Africa)
UEFA (Europe): Germany - next match not sheduled CONMEBOL (S.America): Peru - next match not sheduled CONCACAF (remaining Am.): Mexico - next match not sheduled AFC (Asia): Qatar - next match not sheduled CAF (Africa): Benin - next match not sheduled OFC (Oceania): Fiji - next match not sheduled

Egypt lost 1-0 to Algeria, so we're not gonna see the Cup of Nations Winner in Southafrica.

According to FIFA.com Ecuador will challange Peru at home on 21/12/2009. As both of them are CONMEBOL members, this will be the next title match for Peru.

vs. Ecuador Other changes: Before heading off to South Africa, Germany has scheduled 2 friendlies vs. Hungary (29 May) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (3 June). Mexico will play a friendly vs. USA on 24 February. Qatar will play a friendly vs. North Korea on 29 December. UEFA (Europe): Germany - next match on 29/05/2010 vs. Hungary CONMEBOL (S.America): Peru - next match on 21/12/2009 vs. Benin CONCACAF (remaining Am.): Mexico - next match on 24/02/2010 vs. USA AFC (Asia): Qatar - next match on 29/12/2010 vs. DPR Korea CAF (Africa): Benin - next match on 12/01/2010 vs. Mozambique OFC (Oceania): Fiji - next match not sheduled If USA beats Mexico on 24 February and the Netherlands on 3 March, they will be both UFWC and unoffical CONCACEF champions. Also Mexico can become double-header by beating the Netherlands on 26 May (if both teams don't lose their titles before that date).

So theoretically, Hungary can grab both titles away just before WC 2010.

Hi Jesse,
where do you get your informations from? For example the German matches: Neither FIFA.com, where no sheduled matches of Germany are shown, nor the site of DFB (german football association), where the first sheduled match against an UEFA team is Serbia during WC group stage, confirm your dates.
The future matches of Quatar (FIFA.com) and Mexico (FEMEXFUT Homepage) are confirmed on the respective homepages and of course you are right about Peru's opponent being Ecuador (not Benin).
Edit: On a sidenote: Why is the match tomorrow between Peru and Ecuador (last being the "home" team) in Madrid? Is this some kind of tournament (like Algarve Cup in Women's Football)? Or is there a city in Ecuador called Madrid as well? I can't believe two Southamerican teams would play a friendly within UEFA zone for pure advertising reasons...

Hi Carter, I have my information from the website FIFA.com. It shows these sheduled matches for Germany: From 01.12.2009 To 31.07.2010 Germany - Argentina 03/03/2010 Munich Friendly Hungary - Germany 29/05/2010 TBA Friendly Germany - Bosnia-Herzegovina 03/06/2010 Frankfurt/Main Friendly Germany - Australia 13/06/2010 Durban FIFA World Cup™ Final Germany - Serbia 18/06/2010 Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth FIFA World Cup™ Final Ghana - Germany 23/06/2010 Johannesburg FIFA World Cup™ Final Also the website of the Bosnian football federation www.nfsbih.net/ mentions the match against Germany (see the article "Potpisan ugovar o utakmici sa Njemackom") Danas su, predsjednik Sulejman Colakovic i generalni sekratar Munib Usanovic potpisali Ugovar o medunarodnoj priateljskoij utakmici "A" reprezentacija i Bosne i Hercegovine u Frankfurtu, 03. 06. 2010. godine.

About your sidenote: tomorrow's match seems to be for the so-called "Water Cup", in order to raise funds for water sanitation in these Peru and Ecuador. Apparently there are 90,000 Ecuadorians and 40,000 Peruvians living in Madrid.
Another (less noble) reason could be the rivalry between Madrid and Barcelona, because the next day there will be a (not FIFA sanctioned) match between Catalonia and Argentina in Camp Nou.

Thank you for both informations For some strange reason sheduled matches aren't shown, if you choose "all" as time on FIFA.com. I wonder why the DFB doesn't list them on their homepage thou.
